Simon Cowell’s final night as a judge on American Idol was an emotional one it has to be said. A star-studded crowd gathered, including previous winners of the programme, to bid farewell to straight talking music mogul.
After the show’s glitzy finale, Simon said:
“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support, the fun and your sense of humour. Seeing these contestants back - that's what's made the show."
Talking about his replacement he added:
"When anyone asks who's going to replace me, the truth is you guys are the judge of this show and you've done an incredible job over the years."
Oh just bloody tell us who’s replacing you for God’s sake!
